Disadvantaged Deaf People

One of the most disadvantaged groups are those who cannot hear or speak. Many times these are responsible adults who have the ability to work but lack the opportunity because of societal attitudes. Solutions for this group is a priority and a successful program would be worthy of funding. Research and development into working options has resulted in several solutions that are in various stages of implementation. The Farmette program is one project that is being tailored to address the needs of the deaf community.
